We Create Music for Transformation

The Danish duo "VIRTUE" has been writing and performing spiritual music since 2023. The compositional process originally began a few years ago with meditative vocal and guitar improvisations. At the beginning of 2023 the pieces began to have a more fixed form, in combination with the creation of lyrics that refer to the deeper layers and questions of life.

The duo consists of Susanne Wich on vocals and percussion and Gerhard Pischinger on guitar and electronic sounds. Both are trained music teachers and have worked with music most of their lives. Gerhard also has a master's degree in music therapy, which is a great inspiration for his improvisational style of composition. Susanne's training as a vocal sound healer adds to the meditative and therapeutic character of their music.

Both attended the YogaMela Festival in 2023, which gave an enormous boost to their motivation to create spiritual music. In the following six months they composed a total of ten pieces of music and the duo "VIRTUE" began to perform for family, friends and small audiences. The positive feedback they received after each performance ("unique", "relaxing", "touching", "a journey into another realm of experience") strengthened their belief in their own music and the hope that the opportunity to play for a larger audience would be growing.
